The situation

Our client is a major player in financial services. Their primary activity revolves around acting in solutions for payment from employer to employee benefits.

We joined the controlling department to reinforce it temporarily and support them through the changes they were going through.

The task

The client asked to support the controlling team during a demanding period:

- Budgets and forecasts for the current and following years.
- Ensure the annual and monthly closing.

In addition, the client asked to reconcile Cash & Banks accounts and the operational systems of payment in the context of the year end audit.

The action

In order to attain our objective, we took following actions:

  • We had to adapt to the client's software
  • Collaborate with IT to grasp the reconciliation issues
  • We had to Gather information from different departments to extract the relevant data to develop one report, because the customer also went through a change in his BI.

The results

Thanks to a constructive collaboration with the peers, wee succeeded in :

  • delivering the budget and forecast punctually, ensuring timely planning alignment.
  • Our reconciliation was approved by auditors, affirming financial accuracy and transparency
  • The successful submission of a PowerBI report provided actionable insights for informed decision-making.
