As the Accounting & Consolidation Manager, you will report to the CFO and be responsible for leading the accounting operations within the organization. You will ensure the integrity and efficiency of accounting processes, as well as timely and accurate financial reporting to shareholders and external stakeholders. As a member of the finance leadership team, you will actively contribute to financial policy and strategy, while coaching and developing your team. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing the maturity of the company's financial reporting and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a finance team to execute accounting and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with financial accounting standards under IFRS and Belgian GAAP.
• Develop performance and KPI-based accounting reports to facilitate seamless collaboration with other business functions.
• Improve accounting processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency, while providing strong coaching to develop team members.
• Serve as the Business Process Owner for accounting processes and related roadmaps, in collaboration with IT.
• Structure knowledge management and manage SAP key user roles within the team.
• Oversee audit requirements, address compliance issues, and prepare the annual account sign-off for the board.

• Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage.
• Expertise in IFRS, Belgian GAAP, and SAP.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
• A strong academic background (minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably Master’s) in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience in leading audit processes and managing full legal entity sign-off.
• Experience in process improvement and financial integrity performance monitoring.
• Experience in a production environment is a plus.
